In another post, I referred to SEO folks as being scammers in the article How Do You Get A Website On Google. They like to take a tiny, itsy, bitsy truth and sell you an entire product around it for some amount ending in 7. For example get it today only for $27, or three small payments of $97, or get a master resell license for $1997.
Some bean counter in some alternate universe did the numbers and found out that people like to by things when it ended in 7. I don’t know why, but I won’t argue with them. They did the math, and I ain’t gonna spend the time and effort to collect all that data. It’s a gimmie… I’ll take your word for it.
Now what’s better than a number ending in $7? Put it on a big orange BUY NOW button, hurry there is only a limited supply left. Ughh…. we are all cavepersons. Sadly it works, and the scammers know it, so they use it.
So I might as well do it too, right….Okay just send me $97 and I’ll show you how to get a top ranking How Do You Get A Website On Google in a few days….. Oh wait, your thinking scam right? Of coarse you are. Send me the $97 and I’ll show you how to get ranked for “Big Orange Buy Now Button Equal Scam”, just give this post a couple of days, and it will be number one. It’s an old hat trick designed to dupe those who still don’t get that SEO is a process that takes real work and effort.
